A remake of my previous game Square Shaped Pain in Unity, bringing performance improvements and more!
Square Shaped Pain: Unity is a local multiplayer 2 player arena fighting game with a heavy emphasis on physics. Battle your friend in a small arena using a variety of weapons like spears, bombs, and even a railgun! Use upgrades to change your playstyle and gain the upper hand against your enemy! Make new maps with your own assets! Play it your way!
In development: more maps, weapons, features, fixes, and balances are coming soon! If you want to get your map into the game, put a comment and I will get to you at some point!
Controls:
PLAYER 1
- W A D - Move and jump
- S - down (for abilities)
- Q - pickup/throw in the last direction you moved (hold up and down to throw up and down!)
PLAYER 2
- Arrow keys - move and jump
- Right Shift - pickup/throw
UPGRADES
- Parry - double tap down
- Bomb Jump - double tap up, left or right
- Wings - hold up while airbourne

Install instructions
Windows: Extract into desired location
Mac: the zipping process can break the Unix executable file, if it doesn't work, right click>show package contents on the app, navigate to the MACOS folder, and open Terminal. In terminal, type 'chmod a+x ' and then drag in the file inside MACOS, and run the command. If the file changes its icon, it worked and you can play the game.
