Yes, new update! Featuring:
- New inventory UI, featuring 23 slots; 9 on the hotbar, 13 in the extended inventory, and 3 armour slots. New inventory can be opened with Tab (crafting can be accessed from the inventory)
- New save file UI! Featuring support for multiple saves! And save importing to save some trouble with adding older save files.
- Added FOV and Sensitivity to settings
- Made new Ship Controls UI featuring Ug becoming Uncanny!
- Changed scatter placing system to finally stop floating scatters once and for all! All scatters are placed when the world is generated rather than scatters being placed around the player.
- Replaced Scatter LOD system with Unity's inbuilt one because my one is laggy
- Removed grass, grass is laggy no matter what I do because of the way it needs to be placed, unfortunately its got to go :(
- Changed some graphics, specifically the tonemapping
- Added support for screen effects using the Blit Render Feature, this will be good for potion and debuff effects. Blit Github.
- Changed day night cycle system to prevent shadows being cast from beneath the world upwards
- Added some armour items, helmets and boots, and an Infernal Armour set!
- Added FARMS! They come in packages, and can be used with soil to grow foods! This will make higher tier foods easier to get. They are saved to save file. There are 4 types of farms to use.
- added a command to change global growth multiplier for farms
- Nerfed Adrenaline's recipe from 2 Aloe Vera and Zurus to only one of each
- Changed weapon framework so now I can have custom attack cooldowns
- Made food and weapons held in your hands. Theres a custom eating animation now!
- Nerfed the Blonk Antler, now it does 15 damage and has increased attack cooldown
- Made caves dark
- Made the Xenon Lamp emit light when held
- Made the Miner Helmet occupy the head slot and emit light
- Changed the damage reach system to use distance from nearest surface point rather than from object pivot, so hits can be more accurate
- Nerfed reach a bit
- Gave all villagers quotes
- Gave all villagers hover text
- Changed splash text and loading hints system to read from an external file (lets hope noone finds it)
- Changed enemy spawning system so enemies spawn in a circle around the player.
- Gave the floor plane thats beneath the world a navmesh, allowing enemies to walk on it
- Made the Aggro Effigy craftable
- Added a stun multiplier so some weapons can stun enemies more often, and added the Meat Club which stuns enemies more often
- Changed Amethyst to Onyx and made it black (to reduce confusion between Iridescents)
- Added Tough Meat that drops from Demons and Minibosses
Gee that was a lot, and there might even be more that I've missed! Progression is next in my plan, so stay tuned for way more content!
Also, be careful about bugs since this update's probably full of them. If they are major enough I will release a hotfix, so don't refrain from making them known to me
